Amy Smart has been a model, actress and former American. The modeling career she began with was in Italy in Italy, where she was raised and was born in California. The beginning of her acting career came in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. Her struggle to land a part in Starship Troopers, a film that featured mostly minor roles, was a gruelling battle. This was not easy for Amy because she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't thought of as great actors and so tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy did not give up. She climbed the ladder to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. Amy later stepped into lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she'd been seeking for over 10 years when her film, Just Friends was released. She went on doing some significant films like the Crank series starring Jason Statham and the series Shameless in which she portrayed the well-loved character of recurring.
