Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British musician and a musician and. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. Parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. It was for this reason that his band broke up. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of a future band that would be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which was formed in the year the year 2010. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the contest. This helped them become one of the leading contenders to win the competition. But they finished 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds as part of a deal for One Direction.
